Description

Joe Pye Weeds are large, exuberant plants that contribute foliage mass and texture, as well as flowers.  The bloom season commonly comes in late summer or fall, when the perennial garden most needs additional color.  You can pinch back the stems in mid to late spring to about half their height to promote more compact, bushy growth.
